The position
As the Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical care through a person-centred approach. Your duties will include :
- Supervision of ENs and PCAs involved in providing resident care.
- Working closely with residents and their families to understand their needs.
- Coordinating and delivering assessments, treatment and documentation to the highest standard that meets regulatory requirements.
- Establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with Medical and Allied Health providers who are affiliated with Aberlea Inc.
- Acting as a professional role model for the broader Aberlea Inc. team.

Role skills and experience
- Current Nursing Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- It would be preferable to have aged care experience or a keen desire to work within aged care.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of the team.
- Those applicants with a post graduate qualification in gerontology or aged care management are encouraged to apply.
