All rooms at Aberlea are priced to a maximum of $550, 000, however the cost will be negotiated on an individual basis, according to each person's financial situation.

Respite care (also known as ‘short-term care’) is a form of support for you and your carer.

Sometimes carers need respite for longer periods; for extended holidays, surgery and recuperation or simply for time to rest. Aberlea Inc. offers high quality respite care for your loved ones. We provide flexible, short-term or extended care. Respite guests have their own room and ensuite, dine with the residents and become apart of the residential family. They also have a range of lifestyle activities to participate in during their stay.

At Aberlea Inc. Mortlake, we manage a 9-bed dementia specific unit which we call the “The Mews”.

Within this secure unit each resident has their own bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. We encourage residents and families to make these bedrooms their own by furnishing the rooms with as many familiar items as possible from home.
